Lumpty is going mobile

Lumpty has always been the ideal choice for equipping your classroom with educational activities that are engaging and fun. Now we're working hard to make our resources available for mobile devices too. Over 500 resources have already been converted to a tablet enabled technology (look out for the orange shield logo). So whatever tablets you use (iPads, Kindles, Android or Blackberry) Lumpty is the educational resource that works across the board.

We now have over two hundred resources re-coded to work seamlessly with mobile devices (look out for the spinning

logo). We've listened to our teachers, who want to avoid the IT headache of visiting an app store, so you can now play on your mobiles without having to leave our site. To start using our quizzes and games with your iPads, simply visit our physics, biology or chemistry pages.

Our new art section is tablet enabled

We're kicking off our brand new 'Art' section with a series of tutorials teaching you how to draw cartoon characters. Join Lumpty's resident artists as they take you step by step through the process of creating a variety of charming comic characters. So jump right in and start to develop your artistic skills by working through these graded tutorials.
In keeping with all our new content these activities are compatible with tablet devices.

Our illusions are some of the most popular resources on the web. Teachers like to use them to provide a five minute break in the middle of a long and meaty lesson. The good news is they can now be viewed on mobile devices too. There are loads to look at so click on the 'illusions' link on the menu on the left to try them out for yourself.

We've acted on the requests of our teachers and by popular demand our entire English literature archive is now available for mobile devices. Covering the majority of plays and novels studied at school, Lumpty's English Literature app is stacked with games and quizzes that are ideal to use as starter activities, revision exercises or just five-minute breathers in a long lesson. What's more Lumpty subscribers can download the app for free and unlock the content using their Lumpty username and password!

There are over 40 resources to help teach topics such as forces & motion, energy, waves & optics, electricity & magnetism and matter, atoms & molecules. These resources are exact copies of our website activities so teachers can use the resources on their PC or interactive whiteboards and their students can undertake the same activities on their mobile devices. In this game you will be shown a fraction and your job is to estimate the decimal equivalent by placing a nest on a number line. Our hens are mathematical experts and they will fire their eggs towards the correct answer. If your estimate is good the eggs will be caught in the nest but if you're too far out it all gets very messy.
